When one goes around the villages and small towns and happen to talk to school kids of tenth, twelfth or the degree as of what they would want to do after?
The standard reply that one would get is "depends on Percentage"!!!, "we dont know" !!! " we will think after the result"!!! so on. This i think is disastrous and a "tragedy" for the kids and the "society" they belong.
I use to visit few schools and and colleges and ask the questions referred above....and then i used to ask them to think in a different way i.e. Decide now and study to achieve that. This may sound so simple to the students who have studied in better places with good guidance.
But, for those less fortune kids its not so. By the feed back what i have learnt is , kids used to like my sessions and wanted me to do more of them in the same line.
"make them think different" on the basics of their studies- whether its 10th, 12th or the degree 1st and final year.
Think about it. May be a two days sessions on the subject during the start of their academic year or even in the middle will be so useful.
